Evaluation of your blog experience!

Hello partners, Well, this post is the last! Haha yeah! Finally…I will write about my experience in my blog.

Well, I still remember when the teacher says that we are will use a blog with the purpose to write about several things, for example: food favorite, holidays, persons, the life,etc.. My first thought was “What is a blog?” “Will be very difficult to write a post?” “I don’t know change the colours and to edit the site! Hahaha sometimes, I was thinking that would be complicated, but no!

I never have had a blog, and the experience is fantastic, because you can to write about very things, but not using spanish, only english, and you practice and increase your level, learn new words, find new phrases and complement your ideas, is very effective to develop your language by internet, in this case, reading differents experiences of your group.

I think that, in all this time, I have developed and progressed with my level, before, only read somethings in my facebook, listened songs, some documents, but was a very few, actually, all the weeks upload differents topics related with my life and help me to realize me that now I write more fast, hahah,well,  only a difference of 5 minutes, but it’s something! J

The most funny was read very new things about us! Haha, really, some post were very particulars!

I would like to include, maybe, not only my life and my things, but also support material! Material that help us to understand some subjects in the university, haha, I have seen blogs related with the learning, by sharing differents “links” to complement your study! Haha

Sometimes, I would have liked to write about my favorite food, my opinions at this time, well… I dont’ know,in fact,  I’m satisfied J all the topic were compatible to my taste!

Places I would like to visit

Hello partners! In this day I will write about my favorites places, especifically, about a place that I would like to visit.

Well... I love travel, I think that is very relaxing, you can know different places and learn very things, other lenguages and persons, taste other foods, animals, plants, diversity etc.. I live in the north and usually to see some tourists in "San Pedro de Atacama", it's a beautiful place because the architure is very particular and ancient that impress anyone , and also the weather! haha is very warm and suffocating, but you don't regret it !
I would like to visit many countries, for example Brazil, Canada and EE.UU are my preferences, also I want to know "Isla de Pascua" and the  south of Chile, although I traveled when I was 14 years, but I want to finish the tour haha, I loved Punta Arenas and Puerto Montt !
But before, I wish to know for a long time, the "Salar de Uyuni" in Bolivia, is the world's largest salt flat and the best for all is that is near of the Atacama Desert.
The "Salar de Uyuni" reflect the clouds when the salar is slightly covered of water, specially the rainy season,  january and march.
I would like feel that walk on the sky and specially to see the sunset! the combination of colors is fantastic!
I'm lucky!!!!, because is very near, only need time, money haha and the organization with my family and friends! I could go the next summer :) but nothing is certain!

Bad habits!

Hello partners, This day I will speak about my bad habits!

Well… I have very bad habits L , but first I need explain what is a “bad habit”: a bad habit is a thing that you do and you know that is addictive! For example “surfing the net is addictive and distract me every time when I want study”.

My first bad habit is eat me the nails hahaha, I have this habit since that I am very little, I have tried to change this behaviour, but I haven’t been able to modify haha.

Other thing, for example, could be “sleep much”, eat many sweets, like cakes, chocolate, etc.. my favorite is puffed pastry hahaha, take a shower all days but very late! My mom anger with me!.

Maybe, other persons will tell in the blogs that smoke is a negative habit, in my case, I don’t have these problem, but I like so much the coffee or tea, that is equivalent!

Sometimes, I sleep with my cat, well, nothing in particular and negative, but the fur cause me allergy, and my doctor prohibit me! But i love it and the purr is very awesome!

The list is very long, also I’m addictive to facebook and whatsapp L maybe like you! Hahaha.

The bad habits occupy, first for all, my time and my health, because deteriorate me and things related, but are parts of my day and my life, and I know that one day, or maybe months or years, I don’t know, I must change it and leave it! 

Jane Goodall, a person whom I admire

Hi all! this day I will speak about Jane Goodall.
Jane Goodall is a great woman, she is ethologist, anthropologist, naturalist, writer and activist.
although it's true that she is not veterinarian, Jane is related with the rehabilitation, conservation and defence of the rights of all animals, fields shared with the veterinary medicine.
She is also messenger of peace, has fought in the conservation of primates and an improvement in the zoos around the world and against animal testing.

She was born in London, an April 3 in the year 1934 and has a very particular history: When she was very little, his father gave her a monkey teddy, which many people thought that  she would not like , but it was quite the opposite, his passion for animals, care, and peace in the environment started by the teddy! (anecdote told in his book "Reason for Hope")
In the year 1977, she founded the "Jane Goodall institute" that carry out investigation works, education and chimpanzee conservation in Africa and that has 27 offices in the world.!
She also gives "talks" about climate change and our role in the care for the environment, she es vegetarian, hates farms because the living conditions of the animals are bad and the quality of life is void!
She has received more than 50 international awards and has written more than 10 books about his work and investigations! Jane stands out also in the humanitarian area.

She is a very good example for everyone, a brave woman!

My possible specialization!

This topic for me is very difficult because I don’t know yet my possible specialization.

When I started in the career, my purpose was  specialize me in something related with the paleontology, because I like very much the evolution, the investigation about the past life, the dinosaurs hahah besides other things that maybe in Chile is not developed.

I love animals, seriosly, and I have been thinking all the time if my idea is the correct, although I also have asked to some persons that working in the paleontology if my career is compatible with the specialization, and they are telling me that I could be take this possibility without no problem!!

My interest to paleontology appear when I was in the high-school, I had a subject called “Evolution” and I loved study the different things that relating the past with the present, I found this branch of science very important to understand all the things that surround us, fossils and the differents theorys about of the life.

Nowadays, exists veterinarians that working in this specialization in SPACH!( Chile’s Association of Paleontology ).

I have been searching on the internet some information that help me in the future and will find that in the UACH has a magister related with the paleontolgy! And can postulate persons of different career, and one of the possilities is Medicine Veterinary.

I would like take this option and contribute to the development on my country and I would like work, if is possible, in the same association or in some investigations on the south of Chile. 

A photograph I like

I have many favorite photos!, I have photos with my pets, cousins, family, friends, travel, etc. and that remind me cute moments! On this occasion, I like very much a photo that was taken by my brother the year 2013 when I was 17 years old, during the summer holidays in Peru!

I was on vacation with my family and we decided to climb the Huayna Picchu Mountain, it was a very great experience but at the same time with a bit of fear ha ha.!!

The photo shows the landcape and not my face hahaha, but the idea is to show how high is the mountain, clouds and the abyss that anyone would cause vertigo at the moment!

I love the photo because I return to remember and feel the same emotions of this moment! and think that we are a small point on the Earth in comparison to everything that surrounds us, people would be like ants and the ants are even smaller! (but no less important! :) )
When in Chile is summer (January and February), in Peru is winter! and the rain was abundant! (although in small intervals of time changed the weather completely!) and you could fall more easily, so always with care! :)

My favorite animal!

My favorite animal:

Well, althought it’s true that to me, the animals are the best of world, all the animals are very beautiful and participate in important processes in this world.

Although, I have my own animal favorite, this animal smart, the fur is very nice and very agile, I believe that is the best characteristic!

Well… my favorite animal is the cat, I like so much this animal because I think that have a personality that in love me! Hahahaa , the cats are very independent within each other but, also, they are very smart, in the sense of scale some furnitures, maintain the equilibrium and balance on walls that have only a little diameter, is real awesome!, besides being very creatives, although a little restless hahaha.

For me is very speciall because all my pets have been cats! They are very sensible, catch the feelings of the different persons and scientists say that the purr of cats help to treat some diseases in humans! Because relax your mind, your body and liberate your stress.

Some characterists for me very personal is the ability of catch some sounds and different smells that the human can’t be to capture, besides that all the cats can see in the darkness! Few animals have a good vista like a cat!

The love to the cats began when I was 8 years, I was a only little girl and adopted 2 cats in the street. The different games with my cats, the care and the responsability produced a particular care and speciall affection not only for the cats, but also for all the animals in the world!

Nowadays a integrant of my family is a cat! Called Milo and he is very cute and big!! 

My favorite gadget!!

Well, it’s very difficult choose only one piece of technology, because specially the last years have appeared several gadget! Those that share almost all the day with you, for example, the “whatsapp” in class with your cellphone hahaha!

Personally, I don’t like nor attract the technology, even, I prefer the paper and my notes in comparison with the programs of the computer or “tablets” in class, I don’t know use neither!

But, when I study, I usually use my notebook, I believe that is very useful, comfortably and complementary with anything related with the university.

My first notebook became to 5 years ago, when I was 14, a beautiful gift from my parents at Christmas,  first year in the high school! It is very particular, you need have my “fingerprint” for enter to system! Although this button, nowadays, present a little failure.

When I was more little, I loved take photos with my friends in the school when my first cellphone even had very bad quality hahaha!

I usually use my notebook every days, specially for study, take photos, listen and download music, play some videogames, chat with my friends, so on.. You can do very things, find important information about any topic, and best for all, you can be calm in your home.

Maybe, my life without my notebook or anything related with the technology would be more difficult, the gadgets are resolving very aspects in our life: Find information in just a few seconds is very fantastic! In spite of not replace the books.

Many people have replaced the books for the technology, they say that it’s more ecological!

I hope this semester...

Hi all! I was thinking what things I hope this new semester, and I believe that the same things with respect to the past semester.

The past semester was very fine, I excepted that the subjects were very entertained, but I don’t like so much chemistry haha.

In the second semester, I don’t have any “elective” because I believe that these months are very hard.

I would like take one, related with the care of the little animals (but other years, when I have a good preparation), or something with dance and gym!

In anatomy for example, I hope learn so much about the body of dog, cat, sheep, so on, because is very important along the career, for example, when you are operating any animal!

As you can read, I don’t like chemistry, in this case, biochemistry, but I have the enthusiasm of learn and ask any thing to teacher. I like histology, is very interesting see the tissues and know the different systems that join and give life!

Also I excepct participe in a veterinary clinic, helping or doing little jobs about the career and begin to adapt me, but I don’t have nothing definite,  I accept any offer, haha, although is better try in the next summer.!

In spite of think and plan my “semester academic”, I also think know new people with new  expectations that help me to prepare my long way in this university.

In summary, I will give all this semester not only to approve the subjects, but the most important, learn new methods.

A few of me!

Hi all, this is my first post of this semester, my second semester in the university studing the most beautiful career. Well, I will write a few about my things and my life:

To begin, although it’s true that I study in Santiago, I was born in Calama city, on second region of Chile, when I was a child, I dreamed to be veterinary, I always loved the animals and the environment. This topic for my family was very controversial, because I was the only girl with my cousin that we shared those topics on common.

A few of my life: part of my family came of the Little north, Illapel, my mom for example, both with my uncle, but my father was always of Calama with my grandparents.

I have only one brother, he work in the other university (UCN) in Antofagasta, one cat called Milo and a dog called Mike, both are the most important of my life, my family.

My interest to begin when I a Little girl, I don’t remember much, I believe since to 8 years.

My 2 cats are mark my life, differents changes and situations are related with they.

When I haved 14 years , I participate in a association of help animal with differents parters in my school shared the same love until the past year. I worked helping very cats, learning about of the health and cure them. Is very entertaining, really!

My favorite hobbie is ride in my bike, travel and know new places!

Nowadays, I studied veterinary medicine and I’m very happy, although I stay really stressed, but I have the control of my mind haha.
